Art Gallery Owl is a two-story wooden rental gallery located in front of the Western-style mansion in Yamate, a 5-minute walk from JR Ishikawacho Station. It pre-opened in July 2021. Situated just a 5-minute walk up a gentle slope from the south exit of Ishikawacho Station, it is across from the entrance to the beautiful “Yamate Italian Mountain Garden” with flowers and greenery. This wooden gallery attracts tourists visiting the Western-style mansions in Yamate, as well as locals. Despite its small size, it has a second floor. It is a rental gallery where exhibitions and sales are free of charge. The location is convenient, with tourist spots such as the Western-style mansions in Yamate, Motomachi Shopping Street, and Chinatown nearby. There are many galleries in the area, and visits from both tourists and people exploring galleries are expected. Various artworks, including photographs and paintings, can be exhibited.
